1. What is Mimoza Spa?

Mimoza Spa is a traveling spa offering everything from massage, facials, manicures, pedicures, make-up and more, direct to your location.

We provide you with individual, couple, group or corporate services and packages, and arrange the Ultimate Spa Experience by transforming your setting into a spa-like environment. Great options to choose from to fit your budget!

2. How does the spa work?

Mimoza brings the spa to you, from the highest quality massage tables to music and candles. Every last need is taken care of by therapists who are there to ensure you have a comfortable and relaxing treatment. Our clients do not need to lift a finger - we bring sheets, a full line of professional beauty products, everything to provide the perfect spa treatment. It’s the best of a day spa, without any of the hassles.

3. Why would I choose a mobile spa over a traditional day spa?

A mobile spa gives you the luxury of your choice of professional spa treatments in the privacy of your own home, office or hotel room. No being rushed off the massage table and out the door. No driving. No traffic jams. No dented manicures. What could be better than getting together with friends, enjoying drinks and a few laughs, and having a relaxing spa treatment?

4. What to expect?

When we arrive at your appointed time, the spa team will require 5-10 minutes to set up the spa equipment and décor. You will be asked which room(s) should be used to provide treatments, where the team will be able to have access to the hot water and toilet. For larger deliveries and spa parties you will be provided with a comfortable robe and slippers to change to for the added comfort during your spa appointment. There will be a brief confidential health form for you to complete. This gives you an opportunity to express any health-related issues and discuss the details of your session.

Your spa team will leave the room to provide you with total privacy while you lie down on a massage couch (for massages and facial treatments). Towels, and/or sheets will be provided to drape you with throughout the appointment. Hot tea services will be provided throughout the appointment.

At the end of the appointment, the spa team will clean up and wrap up the equipment while you will be presented with the bill. You will have an opportunity to place your next order directly with the spa team.

5. How do I prepare for a treatment?

Our spa professionals will arrive either in time for your appointment or 15 minutes earlier for spa parties (in order to have enough time to set-up for the party). Massage treatments and facials are performed on a massage table (our tables have a protective covering on the table legs to protect your rug or floors) while nail services and other beauty services are performed either on a chair (which we can also bring) or your favourite armchair or couch. If time permits, we suggest that you take a shower before your massage treatment.

Our spa technicians are equipped with a massage table, towels, sheets, robes and everything necessary to perform a home spa therapy. Great care is taken to ensure your comfort and privacy.

For our residential clients, we advise to keep pets in a separate room or outside during the treatment to prevent interruptions and to create a more relaxing atmosphere. However, we leave the decision to you. We also advise to have someone attend to your children while you are receiving spa treatments unless you would like for them to be involved or you asked us to take care of them.

Please make sure that your valuables are kept outside the treatment area. Mimoza Mobile Spa staff cannot be held responsible for the loss of any personal possessions.

In order that you benefit fully from your relaxation time with us we ask that mobile and stationary phones not be switched on during the spa service delivery.

Then, all you need to do is relax and enjoy!

6. How do I book a spa?

Please make reservations as early as possible to make sure your time requirements are met. We always make every effort to serve you at the time most convenient for your - even if you call on short notice. You can make a reservation by submitting your order online by email to spa@mimoza.com.ua or by calling us directly on (044) 227 3744.

You let us know the date and time that works best for you to have a home spa treatment or Spa Party. We will schedule a spa team that is available for one of those times. Once a time has been scheduled we will call you back to confirm. An email confirmation will be sent with all the details of your treatment or spa party.

7. What is the minimum charge per visit?

Our minimum order is equivalent to UAH 450. Transportation/late/early delivery charges are considered extra. 

8. What is the largest group of people you can do?

One of our greatest advantages compared to stationery salons is that we can provide services to several people at the same time - from small groups of two to large spa parties. The number of participants will depend on the combination of services and the location. Please inquire.

9. Do I need to provide any equipment?

No, we provide all the equipment needed to deliver the services.

10. How much time do I need to set aside for services?

This will depend on the service you are having. Most services are 45-60 min each, unless stated otherwise in the service menu.

11. Should I be concerned about my furniture and flooring?

No, Mimoza Mobile Spa uses padding on the massage table legs to protect your floors from any accidents. We also use floor coverings during nail services and hairstyling. And we take all measures to ensure that when we leave, your place is even cleaner than it was before we came in!

12. What areas of the city do you travel to?

We generally cover the Kyiv city area. Even if you are located outside of Kyiv we can come to you. Your transportation charge will be automatically calculated and included with your order if you place your order online. If you place an order by telephone, we will calculate transport charges in advance and inform you what these charges are before you book.

13. What forms of payment do you accept?

For the convenience of our residential clients Mimoza Mobile Spa accepts cash payments. You will be presented with the invoice and offer you an opportunity to settle your bill after your spa experience is complete.

Hotel guests in our partner-hotels may have the option of charging treatments to their room account. Please check if your hotel participated in our partner program (go to page Our Partners ). Corporate clients may pay by bank transfer. We are now in the process of adding more payment methods.

14. Is there an age minimum?

Mimoza Spa services are perfect for any age! However, clients must be at least 14 years old unless accompanied by a parent in the room.

15. What if someone is pregnant?

Luckily, Mimoza Mobile Spa caters to pregnant women! If you are pregnant, please note the stage of pregnancy prior to booking so your technician can properly prepare for your comfort. We also suggest that you consult your doctor before booking our services.

16. Do you offer any discounts?

Prices on Spa Packages already reflect discounts.

We have a rewards program "Relaxation Specialist" which allows you to earn cash to pay for Mimoza services. Give us a call at (044) 227 3744 if you would like to learn more about this program.

We offer special discount to the International Women's Club members. 

Also keep your eyes out for our special offers and seasonal promotions – we offer some great bargains there.

17. There will be some guests that will "drop by" during my spa party and not have any spa treatments. Is that OK?

Of course! One of the greatest perks of having Mimoza Spa Party is that not everyone has to have services to enjoy the party. Anyone is welcome to hang out amp; be part of the festivities! If they like what they see and our therapists have extra time, they could book some services too.

18. What is your party/event cancellation policy?

As time is so important, please respect ours and give 24 hours notice of cancellations.

19. What if someone is late?

In the case of a confirmed appointment - if you are not present when we arrive we will give you a 30-minute grace period. We will then leave & you will be responsible for the full fee (alternatively, if there is time before the next appointment, we will stay and deliver full service at which point 20% surcharge will be added to your bill). For Spa Parties, we cannot guarantee full service if someone is late for their start time. If it fits into the schedule of the party we will try to accommodate that guest.

20. What types of spa parties do you offer?

Since we customize our spa parties to meet your needs, we can accommodate just about any special occasion you can dream of - Girl’s Night-In, Baby Showers, Birthday Party, Bachelorette Party, Bridal Party Get-Together, Corporate Services and so on. If you have occasion for a party, we bring the spa to you. And after all, whoever said you need a reason for a spa party anyway!

21. How do I know if I have enough room?

Depending on the number of guests receiving the spa treatment, Mimoza Spa will need space for each massage table and supplies. This area needs to be around 2 meters by 3 meters of open space per table. Nail services are conducted either on the massage couch or on a chair or couch. It is preferred to set up the spa area near a bathroom. Some guests prefer to have separate spa rooms for each service/massage table.

22. Will I receive the same level of service as in a traditional spa?

All Mimoza Spa specialists received professional training and have several years of experience working in their area of expertise. They were selected by us for their high levels of professionalism, courtesy, professional knowledge, their caring nature and sense of touch. Our spa therapists are talented, experienced, caring professionals who strive to leave you feeling pampered and tranquil at the end of your treatment.

Continuing education is an essential part of providing professional, high quality services to our clients. Our spa professionals use only top quality salon products in our treatments. In addition, great care is taken to maintain the highest level of sanitation. Disposable products are used whenever possible and equipment is sanitized according to the laws of Ukraine.

23. Should I tip the spa professionals?

It is not required, but if you are pleased with the services you received, feel free to thank your therapist with a gratuity. This can be given directly to each therapist providing your services or just one of them - she will then distribute the tips accordingly.

24. What are your hours?

As the nature of our spa is different from that of a traditional day spa, our hours of operation are flexible to meet your needs. Mimoza spa professionals are available seven days a week.

25. Are there any conditions where a client would be refused services?

Spa technicians are required to refuse treatment to anyone with broken skin or lesions that cannot be covered or avoided. Also, if a client has a nail fungus, they cannot receive a nail service. Services must also be refused for undisclosed medical conditions for which massage is contraindicated and for intoxication, misconduct such as solicitation or suggestive comments.

If you are pregnant, please note the stage of pregnancy prior to booking so your technician can properly prepare for your comfort.

26. What is the minimum number of people needed for a spa party?

There is no required minimum - or for that mater, maximum number of participants. We will be happy to cater to any size party! For parties of six and over we provide complementary Mimoza cocktails.

27. What is a spa party?

A spa party is no ordinary party. Spa Party is the perfect way to treat yourself and your friends to the luxuries of a day spa in a fun atmosphere at your home, office or event. Like any other form of entertainment that you hire for a party, our spa parties include “spa stations” where your guests can be pampered. All you do is invite your guests and contact us. We do the rest – from organizing the event and setting the mood to providing all the services and creating custom gift bags.

28. How much do your services and parties cost?

We offer a variety of pricing to choose from – individual treatments to complete spa packages as well as custom rates for groups. There is a UAH 450 minimum charge for our residential clients. 

29. How fast will I get results with a massage?

It's important to be realistic about what one massage can achieve.

Many people ask for more pressure, thinking that if the therapist just pushes hard enough, they can get rid of all their knots in an hour, or that they will lose weight by just doing the anti-cellulite massage. This just won't happen. In fact, undoing chronic knots and tension built up over a lifetime or enhancing our body shape is best achieved with an integrated program that includes exercise, work on your posture and ways of moving, relaxation techniques, diet, and a regular program of massage. Our recommended program duration is 10-15 sessions.
